Data Deletion Instructions
For Meta, Instagram, Messenger, WhatsApp and Pilot account data
How to request deletion
If you want Pilot to delete personal data connected to your account, business, leads, conversations, or Meta-connected channels, email us at hello@eclipsepilot.com with the subject line Data deletion request.
Please include:
- The email address used for your Pilot account
- The business name connected to the request
- The channel involved, if relevant: Facebook Messenger, Instagram or WhatsApp
- A short description of what you want deleted
What we delete
Where legally permitted, we will delete or anonymise:
- Business account profile data
- Connected channel tokens and identifiers
- Lead and conversation records
- Qualification answers and outcome survey data
- Related operational records that are no longer required
What may be retained
Some records may be retained where required by law, fraud prevention, security, dispute handling, tax, accounting, or payment obligations. For example, billing records may need to be retained for HMRC record-keeping requirements.
Response time
We will acknowledge deletion requests as soon as practical and aim to complete valid deletion requests within 30 days. If we need more information to verify or process the request, we will contact you using the email address provided.
Disconnecting Meta channels
You can also disconnect Pilot from your Facebook Page or Instagram account through your Meta account settings, or by disconnecting the channel inside the Pilot dashboard. This stops future messaging access, but you should still email us if you also want existing Pilot records deleted.
